5-8pm – Dinner Served
Bring your meal ticket to the dinner serving area to get your Tri-tip sandwhich, baked beans and green salad plate. If you did not pre-purchase a dinner you can buy one at serving time for $10. In addition you can purchase a dessert at the Cowgirls Bake Table where all proceeds go directly to help the girls get to the 2010 World Equestrian Games!
There's also a snack bar at the event and usually one or two other food vendors.
5-8pm – Team Sorting
If you've never seen this entertaining sport, you're in for a good time. Team Sorting exhibits horsemanship and teamwork. A team of 2 riders is challenged to "sort" a specific cow from a herd of 10 head of cattle, numbered from 0-9. Once placed in a pen, the team must next sort and drive the other cows, one by one, in numerical order into the same pen. The team is given 2 minutes to get all the cattle from one pen to the other. The required quick pace, superb balance, fast reflexes, and sharp maneuvers by horse and rider alike make this a popular spectator sport.
